How to preserve freshly squeezed pickled mustard greens?

Place the freshly squeezed pickled mustard greens into a plastic bag, remove as much air as possible, and then seal it.

Refrigeration Method: Place the freshly harvested pickled mustard greens in a plastic bag, removing as much air as possible, and seal it. Place the packaged mustard greens in the refrigerator's vegetable drawer to maintain freshness. This method usually preserves the mustard greens for about a week. Note that mustard greens are prone to moisture in the refrigerator, so check for spoilage before consumption.

Freezing Method: Cut the fresh pickled mustard greens into appropriately sized pieces and place them in a plastic bag, removing air and sealing. Place the packaged mustard greens in the freezer for long-term storage. Frozen mustard greens can be stored for several months, but this may affect the taste and nutritional content. Before consumption, thaw the mustard greens; it is best to thaw them overnight in the refrigerator.

Pickling Method: Wash the fresh pickled mustard greens and cut them into appropriately sized pieces. Prepare a clean container, add an appropriate amount of salt, and place the mustard greens in the container, ensuring they are covered with salt. Cover and place in a cool, well-ventilated area, turning once a day to ensure the mustard greens are fully in contact with the salt. After about a week, the mustard greens will be pickled. Remove them, rinse with clean water, and dry. The pickled mustard greens can be stored in a sealed bag in the refrigerator for extended preservation.

Sauce Method: Wash the fresh pickled mustard greens and cut them into appropriately sized pieces. Prepare a clean container, add an appropriate amount of soy sauce, sugar, vinegar, minced garlic, minced ginger, and other seasonings, and place the mustard greens in the container, ensuring they are covered with the seasonings. Cover and place in a cool, well-ventilated area, turning once a day to ensure the mustard greens are fully in contact with the seasonings. After about a week, the mustard greens will be sauced. Remove them and place them in a sealed bag for refrigeration, allowing for longer preservation.

Sun-drying Method: Wash the fresh pickled mustard greens and cut them into appropriately sized pieces. Spread the mustard greens on a clean basket or drying rack, ensuring sufficient space between them for ventilation. Place the basket or drying rack in a sunny location, turning once a day for even drying. After about three to five days, the mustard greens will be dried. Dried mustard greens can be stored in a sealed bag in a cool, dry place for long-term preservation.
